Guillem Balague provides update on Jese future on Twitter

Real Madrid's Jese in action with Manchester City's Eliaquim Mangala

Middlesbrough and Las Palmas are reportedly interested in signing Jese from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.

Well-known Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has revealed on social networking site Twitter that Las Palmas and Middlesbrough think that Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese will make decision on his future today.

According to AS, Spanish club Las Palmas and Premier League outfit Middlesbrough are interested in signing Jese from PSG in the January transfer window.

It has been reported by the Spanish publication that Las Palmas are hopeful of securing the services of the 23-year-old this month.

However, according to the report, French giants PSG seem set to offer a loan deal to Middlesbrough as they would get a higher loan fee.

Sky Sports journalist Balague has claimed on Twitter that Las Palmas and Boro think that Jese will make a decision on his future today.

Jese joined French giants PSG from Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £21.2 million.

Much was expected of the 23-year-old at the Ligue 1 outfit, but the forward has struggled to make a huge impact in France.

The Spaniard has scored only one goal and created just four chances in nine Ligue 1 appearances for PSG so far this season, according to Squawka.com.
