League Two side Blackpool have made a bid for Wrexham's highly-rated defender Curtis Tilt, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Powerful defender Tilt has caught the eye for Wrexham this season since joining the club from Telford last summer.
Tilt has made 26 appearances in the National League for Wrexham this term and the defender has helped the Dragons keep eight clean sheets in the games that he has played.
The 25-year-old’s performances have not gone unnoticed higher up the football pyramid with several Football League clubs sending scouts to the Racecourse Ground to keep tabs on Tilt.
The likes of Barnsley, Wigan and Rotherham have all been watching Tilt, but Blackpool are now hoping to steal a march on their rivals by tabling a firm offer for the centre-back, who is the final six months of his contract at Wrexham.
Blackpool boss Gary Bowyer is keen to bolster his defensive options during this month's transfer window and he hopes to be able to bring Tilt to Bloomfield Road.
Tilt’s displays have also brought him to the attention of Jamaica who are considering giving the player a call-up to the international stage.
