David Moyes has refused to comment on Sunderland’s reported interest in Norwich City left-back Robbie Brady (Chronicle).
Reports in the Chronicle have suggested that Sunderland have made a £10 million offer for the Republic of Ireland international.
However, Moyes would not confirm or deny whether the Black Cats were trying to sign Brady.
“I won’t talk about players at other clubs,” he said, when asked about Sunderland’s reported interest.
Moyes did suggest Sunderland were looking to make some additions this month, though.
The Black Cats are yet to make a signing, and the Scottish boss admits that he is facing some difficulties while trying to get deals over the line.
“We are looking around, but everyone knows the limitations we have,” Moyes said.
Sunderland do not have the same financial muscle that some of their Premier League rivals do.
The Black Cats are currently struggling for form, and crashed out of the FA Cup against Burnley yesterday.
Sunderland are currently in 19th place in the Premier League table, with their next match coming against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend.
