Wolverhampton Wanderers are beginning to show signs of improvement under Paul Lambert.

Club legend Steve Bull explained how Paul Lambert's interaction with the media this week, and how he has dealt with questions regarding his time at Aston Villa, has been so refreshing, from a Wolves perspective, when writing his column for the Express & Star.

Lambert spent just under three years in charge at Villa Park, with limited success.

And he was appointed as manager at the Molineux Stadium in November, although it has taken longer than expected for his ideas and philosophies to be translated into positive results.

The Wolves boss was asked about his time at Villa Park this week, and responded by saying:

"Wolves fans don't want to hear me talking about any other club."

And Bull, who scored 306 goals for the Black County outfit, explained how Lambert's attitude has been spot on, as his side prepare for today's huge clash with Villa, when writing his column for the Express & Star:

"Lambert has been asked a lot of questions this week about his time at Villa. But his response was refreshing to hear. I think he's absolutely right to leave what happened to him at Villa in the past. He is now striving to build a successful future for Wolves and there is no need for him to look back."

Wolves currently sit in 17th position in the Championship table, 13 points adrift of sixth placed Sheffield Wednesday, and a good run, starting with a win over Villa this evening, could bring Lambert's men right back into play-off contention.
