New Sheffield Wednesday signing Sam Winnall has taken to Twitter to react after completing his move from Yorkshire rivals Barnsley.
The Owls may already have talented attackers like Fernando Forestieri, Gary Hooper and Steven Fletcher, but manager Carlos Carvalhal was keen to add more firepower to his squad – and got his man on Friday.

Sam Winnall has starred for Barnsley since his 2014 move from Scunthorpe United, scoring 37 goals in his first two seasons before notching 11 goals this term, impressing in the Championship.
Now, the former Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster is on the move, as Sheffield Wednesday swooped to land him in a deal believed to be worth just £500,000 (Yorkshire Post), given that Winnall was set to become a free agent at the end of the season.

Winnall is now in line to make his Owls debut against Huddersfield Town this afternoon, and he'll be hoping to fire the goals to get Wednesday into the Championship play-off places this season.
After completing his move to Hillsborough, Winnall took to Twitter to send a message to the club's fans, stating that he's delighted to have joined the Owls.
Winnall added that he can't wait to get started with the club and attempt to help the club back to the Premier League for the first time since their relegation way back in 2000.
