Leeds United won against Derby County in the Championship on Friday evening.

Michael Vaughan has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Leeds United’s display against Derby County on Friday evening.

Leeds maintained their strong run of form with a narrow 1-0 victory over Derby at Elland Road in the Championship.

Chris Wood scored the only goal of the match on the stroke of half time. The Rams also ended the game with 10 men due to the sending-off of Bradley Johnson in the 89th minute.

Former England international cricketer Vaughan, who is a well-known Wednesday fan, was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Leeds’s display.

Elland Road

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Friday evening, hosts Leeds had 48% of the possession, took 21 shots of which eight were on target, and earned 16 corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Derby had 52% of the possession, took six shots of which only one was on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.

The West Yorkshire outfit are third in the Championship table at the moment with 48 points from 26 matches.
