The Tottenham pair have established themselves as first-choice starters for both club and country over the past 18 months, and the way in which they play is vitally important to they manner in which Spurs and England operate.
And Walker was full of praise for Rose, during an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, highlighting the challenge he faces when he squares up against the left-back during training:

"He's horrible to play against, I can't stand it. He's always around you, he does not give you a moment's rest."
Mauricio Pochettino's side is totally dependant on both Rose and Walker to provide them with width, and they are expected to do two players' jobs during the majority of their games.

Combine this with the intensity in which the Argentine expects his team to play with, and is just goes to show how physically fit both players are.
The challenge for them, however, will be to keep up their intensity and performance levels for the entirety of the season, and if they manage to do that, there is no reason why Tottenham cannot go on to achieve Premier League glory.
