Birmingham midfielder David Davis is set to sign a new deal at the club after attracting interest from rival clubs.
As revealed by HITC Sport Nottingham Forest, Queens Park Rangers and Fulham were all lining up moves for Davis during this month's transfer window with the player in the final six months of his current deal.

All three clubs were hoping to land Davis for a cut-price fee because of his contract situation and were preparing to test Birmingham's resolve to keep hold of the midfielder
The news of the interest from Birmingham's three Championship rivals has meant the Blues have brought forward talks with Davis in a bid to extend his stay at the club.

Birmingham boss Gianfranco Zola has been impressed by Davis since his arrival at the club and he sees him as being a key man in his plans going forward at the Championship club.
The 25-year-old has established himself as a key member of the Birmingham side since joining from local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2014.
News of Davis pledging his future to Birmingham will come as a major boost to Zola as he tries to bolster his squad during this month's transfer window.
