James Maddison gave a glimpse of what he is capable of as he scored for Norwich City's under-23 side last night, potentially plunging a potential return to Aberdeen into doubt.
The talented prospect was on loan at the Scottish Premiership side during the first half of the season, but has since returned to Carrow Road after that deal expired.

Yesterday, Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes told the Aberdeen Press and Journal that he was confident the Dons would be successful in their attempts to bring Maddison back on loan for the second half of the campaign.
Last night he netted for Norwich in their under-23 side's entertaining 3-3 draw with Aston Villa.

It was on transfer deadline day last January, Norwich City pulled off a potentially significant coup to sign Maddison, holding off competition from some of the Premier League big guns.
They are yet to benefit from it, sending him back on loan to Coventry City as part of the agreement.
Norwich manager Alex Neil
In the summer Canaries boss Alex Neil agreed to let Maddison join Aberdeen for half a season, and now has a decision to make with regards to the rest of the campaign.
The 20-year-old England youth international scored twice and provided seven assists for Aberdeen during his loan spell, and Norwich need to consider whether he can play a role for them, as they bid to get back into the play-off hunt.
Here is a look at how Norwich City fans reacted on Twitter to his performance...
