The Cambridge United striker is looking to have finally found his feet.

Leeds United are through to the next round of the FA Cup after a hard-fought win against Cambridge United in the third round.

The Yorkshire club struggled at times against the League Two side and were 1-0 down at half-time. However, they ended up winning the game 2-1 after second-half goals from Stuart Dallas and Alex Mowatt.

But one of the outstanding performances of the night came from Uche Ikpeazu of Cambridge United.

The striker scored their goal in the game and demonstrated immense ability for a player of just 21-years-old.

Not many Championship strikers have managed to push Pontus Jansson that hard this season, but the striker was formidable at times and his strength was frightening.

So, should Leeds United take interest?

The club need a new striker and have been linked with several Premier League players, but perhaps they should look to the lower leagues.

Ikpeazu has pedigree. He smashed goalscoring records in the Reading youth-team before making a move to Watford in 2013, a switch he would later regret.

His goal last night took him to eight for the season and four in his last six games. He is a rough diamond, but polished correctly he could shine in the Championship at Leeds United.
