The Portuguese winger has been linked with a move to Spurs recently.

Apparent Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Bruma has responded to questions regarding a potential move away from Galatasaray – and it does not sound like he will be going anywhere soon.

The Portuguese winger continues to be linked with a move to Spurs. This week reports in Turkey have suggested Spurs already placed a €20 million (£17 million) bid for the player - as reported by Sporx – which has been knocked back by the Turkish club.

He was asked about his future by the press in Portugal this week and made it clear that he will not be leaving Istanbul before the end of his contract – which expires in 2017.

He is quoted by RTF as stating:

"I want to continue working the same way in 2017 and achieve my goals. I have a contract with Galatasaray and I will continue.

"I'm a professional, so everything can happen.”

Spurs have been linked with an interest in the powerful Portuguese wide man for some time now and the club are known to be after a new winger – with interest in Wilfried Zaha also being regularly reported.

Bruma is a similar player so it is understandable to see why Spurs could be interested.

But for now it seems he is hoping to remain in Turkey, so Spurs may have to assess other options.

Would Bruma be a good signing?
