According to Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio, AC Milan have made an approach to Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu, and are awaiting a response from the player.
Deulofeu starred during a loan deal with Everton in the 2013-14 season, and after an ill-fated spell with Sevilla, the former Barcelona youngster did pen a permanent deal with Everton in 2015.

An important part of Robert Martinez's squad last season, Deulofeu hit two goals and eight assists last season, forming a strong link with striker Romelu Lukaku, but also needing to add some consistency to his game.
However, Deulofeu has arguably gone backwards under new manager Ronald Koeman. The 22-year-old wide man has started just four Premier League games this season, and has yet to register a goal or an assist.

On Friday, manager Koeman told the Liverpool Echo that Everton have yet to receive any approaches for Deulofeu ahead of the January transfer window, but teams do appear to be interested in him regardless.
Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Serie A side AC Milan have made an approach to Deulofeu himself, and are awaiting a response from the Spaniard before making contact with Everton.
It's stated that Deportivo La Coruna, Las Palmas and Marseille are all keen on Deulofeu, but Milan are hoping to add him to their attacking options, and are ready to start negotiations if Deulofeu or his representatives indicate they are interested in a move.
However, the report claims that Everton are reluctant to let Deulofeu leave either on loan or permanently, meaning that the winger may need to ask Everton to let him go in January for a deal to be done with Milan.
