The 19-year-old star has been a regular for Doncaster Rovers this season.
The 19-year-old was loaned to Doncaster in the summer on an initial deal until January as Villa looked to see him playing regular first-team football away from Villa Park.
So far he has succeeded, featuring in 18 games for the Yorkshire side, who are currently top of the League Two table.

He spoke to The Star this week about how much he has enjoyed this spell in his career:
“I was just excited that I was coming to play first team football and I really wanted to do well.
“I’m starting to realise now what it means a bit more, as I’ve played a few more games and been here for a couple of months.
“I didn’t expect to get such a good club to go on loan to. I was absolutely delighted with it and I’m really happy to be staying.
“I’ve always said that I really, really want to stay here until the end of the season because it’s done so much for me. It’s been a great experience so far.”

Yesterday saw Aston Villa and Doncaster come to an agreement over an extension to his loan spell at the club, which will keep him at the League Two side until the summer.
Mason, who has previously played in the youth team at Real Madrid and Qatari side Al Sadd, is a talent that Villa think highly of and his progress at Doncaster will undoubtedly be impressing those in charge at Villa Park.
Hopefully he can help guide Doncaster to promotion before staking his claim for a place in the Aston Villa team.
