Birmingham City will be looking to climb the table in the new year.
The Blues are expected to be busy in the January transfer window, and a report from the Mirror claims that new boss Gianfranco Zola is targeting two loan signings, and also has £11 million to spend on new players.
Birmingham have lost their opening two games since the Italian's arrival at St Andrews, and currently sit in 11th position in the Championship table, but are only six points adrift of the play-off spots.
Ruben Loftus Cheek celebrates
And Zola wants to aid his side's promotion push with the loan signings of Chelsea stars Dominic Solanke and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, according to the Mirror.
The Birmingham owners have also made £11 million available for Zola to spend on January additions, should the Blues boss wish to strengthen even further.
The Midlands outfit face a four game spell which appears kind to the eye, despite the fact that there are no easy games in the Championship.
The average league position of their next four opponents is 16th, and what a fantastic opportunity that run of games could be for Birmingham to force themselves back into promotion play-off contention.
