Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing one of Crystal Palace's prized assets.
Spurs have been credited with an interest in Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha over recent weeks, and Mauricio Pochettino responded to questions asking him if he is interested in the 24-year-old, as quoted by Sky Sports.
Zaha returned to Palace on a permanent basis in February 2015, after a failed stint at Manchester United, and has excelled for the Eagles this season, impressing with his marauding displays down both flanks.
And speaking to reporters, Pochettino refused to be drawn on questions regarding the links with the Palace man, although he did admit that Zaha is a good player, as quoted by Sky Sports:
Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha
"I like good players and maybe he is a good player. But I don't like to start focusing on some names. Then you start a rumour."
Whilst Tottenham have plenty of options in the wide attacking areas, it is debatable whether they have the quality needed to challenge for major honours.
Zaha has been in electric form this season, and it is little wonder that the Lilywhites have expressed an interest in signing him.
He would be a fantastic addition to the Spurs side.
With his blistering pace and direct style of play, he would provide them with something that they are currently bereft of.

Would Sam Allardyce be willing to lose one of his best players in January though?
According to the Sun, Zaha has angered the Palace boss, after he chose to accept an invitation to play for the Ivory Coast at the African Cup of Nations.
So maybe Tottenham's route to signing the 24-year-old will be easier than first thought.
