Manchester United are reportedly ready to accept just £12.5m for Everton target Memphis Depay.
According to The Mirror, Manchester United are now prepared to accept just half of the £25million they paid for winger Memphis Depay, with a move to Everton allegedly close.
The Red Devils splashed the cash to land Depay in the summer of 2015, as they won the race to sign the Dutch winger after he hit 28 goals in 40 games during his last season with PSV Eindhoven.

Depay arrived with huge expectations, but struggled to make an impact under Louis van Gaal last season, notching just two goals in the Premier League, but failing to register any assists.
This term, Depay’s season has been even worse. Jose Mourinho has yet to even give Depay a start in the Premier League, and his four substitute appearances have amounted to just 20 minutes of top flight playing time.

Once one of the hottest properties in Europe, Depay now looks set to be thrown onto the Manchester United scrapheap – and reports now claim that the Red Devils are ready to cut their losses on the winger.
The Mirror report that United are ready to accept a bid of just £12.5million, half of the £25million they forked out to sign Depay just 18 months ago – and a move to Everton appears to be on the cards.
The Manchester Evening News reported just days ago that Depay was closing in on a permanent move to Everton, with the Toffees searching for a winger after Yannick Bolasie was ruled out for up to a year with a knee injury.
Depay fits the bill perfectly as a replacement for Bolasie, and manager Ronald Koeman even told FOX Sports NL last month that he would like to work with Depay in a bid to get the best out of his fellow Dutchman.
£12.5million should fit into Everton’s budget thanks to Farhad Moshiri’s investment, and if Koeman really can get the best out of Depay again, then it would prove to be a major bargain for the Toffees.
