Arsenal are set to announce that two first-team stars have agreed new contracts with the club, according to reports.
Reports emanating from France today suggest that the Gunners are set to announce new deals for two of their key first-team members, according to French media outlet RMC Sport, but they are not the players the Arsenal fans are so desperate to see commit their futures to the club.
Arsenal's Olivier Giroud
Olivier Giroud and Francis Coquelin have reportedly been offered new deals by Arsenal, with the club set to make an announcement shortly, while RMC Sport also go on to suggest that Laurent Koscielny will be the next Gunners star to follow suit.
The north London outfit have still not managed to tie down the futures of Mesut Ozil or Alexis Sanchez, and based on the form that the pair have shown this season, they must do everything within their power to ensure that the German and Chilean superstars remain at the Emirates.
Arsenal's Francis Coquelin
The report claims that Giroud, 30, will pen a new deal that will expire in 2019, whilst Coquelin's new contract will run until 2021, after the 25-year-old has proved himself to be an integral part of the Gunners squad.
