QPR manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink rules out Coventry move
Former Queens Park Rangers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has turned down the chance to become Coventry's City new manager, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Struggling League One outfit Coventry made an approach to Hasselbaink about becoming their new manager as they look for someone to transform their fortunes.
Mark Venus has been in interim charge since Tony Mowbray left the Ricoh Arena in September, but Venus revealed last weekend that he was ready to move upstairs to a new role to allow a new manager to come in and take charge of the team.

Hasselbaink is thought to have been Coventry's number one target as they feel the Dutchman has all the qualities to turn the club around.
Coventry are languishing in 21st spot in League One and are facing a real battle to stay up this season after losing their last five games.
Hasselbaink is currently out of work after leaving Queens Park Rangers last month and he is thought to be keeping his options over a possible return to management early in the New Year.
