Dele Alli has told Sky Sports that Tottenham Hotspur will become a great team again, as soon as they find their rhythm.
Spurs have struggled slightly in recent weeks, and they have slipped down to fifth in the Premier League table.
Although Mauricio Pochettino’s side remain in touching distance of the Champions League qualification spaces, there has been some concerns expressed about their recent performances.
However, Alli insists that Spurs are not too far away from their best - and as soon as things start clicking again they will be back in the title fight.
“We have got a great side and we are happy to sit underneath the radar and just keep picking up points,” Alli said.
"It is no good being good in halves of games or in one game and not in the next one. When we find our rhythm, I am sure we will be a great team again."
Tottenham were not at their best going forward in a 1-0 defeat against Manchester United last weekend.
United have looked vulnerable at Old Trafford this season, but Spurs were unable to pose them too many problems.
Tottenham now remain three points away from Manchester City - who occupy fourth spot.
Spurs are next in action tomorrow evening, when they take on Hull City at White Hart Lane.
