The England international is not heading to Paris in the summer.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has insisted he is happy at White Hart Lane, after being linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain this week.

The Mirror reported that the England international midfielder was wanted in a £50 million deal next summer as PSG look to freshen up their first-team squad.

At that sort of money, and with the wages likely to be offered, Alli would have surely struggled to say no to any potential interest from the French capital.

But, speaking to Sky Sports News, the England international has confirmed he is more than happy at White Hart Lane and is not interested in a move.

He stated:

"It's all just rumours to be honest with you.

"I have just signed a new contract with Tottenham, I am happy here. I couldn't think of a better place to be at my age.

"It has been a great year for me, I have had a lot of success in my career so far but I have got to keep improving, keep getting better, and make sure 2017 is even better."

Alli has been a sensation for Tottenham ever since making a move from MK Dons in 2015.

Now a regular in the England squad and the scorer of last season’s Premier League goal of the Season it is no wonder he is catching the eye of potential suitors.

Despite his current poor form for Tottenham the midfielder is still one of the best young talents in the world and Spurs do not want to let him go.

So hearing that Alli wants to stay is certainly good news for Spurs.
