Leeds United host Reading at Elland Road tonight as they look to bounce back.

David Prutton has told Sky Sports that he expects Leeds United to be back to their best when Reading visit Elland Road tonight, but is only backing a draw.

Leeds host Jaap Stam's side this evening on the back of a disappointing 2-0 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion, who briefly moved top of the Championship.

But Garry Monk's troops risk dropping out of the top six if they do not beat the Royals this evening, even though it is a tough ask at the moment.

Leeds United's Matt Grimes looks dejected

Reading are third in the Championship, five points behind Leeds and although Prutton is backing his former side to improve, the Sky Sports pundit does not believe anything will separate both sides this evening.

"These two will be very happy with their lot so far this season and there isn't much between them," he told Sky Sports.

Leeds manager Garry Monk

"Garry Monk was disappointed with his team at Brighton as they didn't really play to their optimum level. I'm sure they'll be back to their normal levels for this clash.

Leeds are strong at home but Reading will travel there in good heart after a very impressive win over Sheffield Wednesday. Draw."

One thing which stands the hosts in good stead is the fact that Leeds tend to bounce back superbly from disappointment under Monk. They seldom suffer back-to-back Championship defeats and Stam will be mindful of that.
