West Ham duo Randolph and Noble show their pain after Liverpool draw

West Ham United could not hold on for a win against Liverpool.

West Ham United got a valuable point away to Liverpool on Sunday, but it could have been even better for Slaven Bilic’s side.

The Hammers came from behind to go 2-1 up courtesy of goals from Dimitri Payet and Michail Antonio, before a mistake from goalkeeper Darren Randolph gifted Liverpool an equaliser.

The Republic of Ireland international dropped a cross into the path of Divock Origi, who gratefully found the back of the net.

After the game, Randolph showed his dejection, as did West Ham skipper Mark Noble.

The two men will know just what a boost it would have been to maintain their superb form against Liverpool and take all three points back to the London Stadium.

Alas it was not to be, yet West Ham can at least take hope from their overall performance, where they gave the high-flying Reds a run for their money.

Next up for the Hammers is a clash against Burnley on Wednesday evening.
