The Tottenham Hotspur player looked good when he came on against Manchester United.
Tottenham Hotspur suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United on Sunday, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan scoring the only goal of the game with a moment of magic.
Many of Tottenham’s starting line-up were well below their best, but one player who came off the bench set about proving his doubters wrong in the form of Moussa Sissoko.
The French international has struggled to justify his sizeable price tag thus far, with the majority of Spurs supporters questioning the wisdom of spending so much on a player many felt they did not need.
However, against United the midfielder came off the bench and did everything in his power to turn the game in Tottenham’s favour.

In just 33 minutes, Sissoko had six take-ons (more than any of his teammates), while he won a very impressive seven duels and three ball recoveries.
The Tottenham man also touched the ball 32 times, ensured he was not dispossessed on any occasion and played a key pass to set up a scoring chance for a teammate.
While there is still a very long way to go before Tottenham are seeing the best of Sissoko on a consistent basis, he showed on Sunday that he may not be the flop some were already envisioning.
