Robbie Fowler is a big fan of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

When writing his column for the Mirror, Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler offered high praise for Spurs striker Harry Kane, underlining how important his hard work and dedication has been in enabling him to become the player he is today.

The 23-year-old England international has been a revelation for Tottenham over the past two seasons, scoring 68 goals in his last 114 appearances for the club, and has fully established himself as one of the Premier League's most feared strikers.

And Fowler raved about Kane's dedication to the game, when writing his column for the Mirror:

"What marks him out, though, is not the talent, it’s his dedication and desire to work hard and improve, even when things didn’t go right for him. Kane did it the hard way, with loans spell at four different clubs – without pulling up any trees. That’s where the graft comes in. People are saying he can never match Jimmy Greaves, Bobby Smith, Gary Lineker, Teddy Sheringham, or Jurgen Klinsmann with Spurs. But why not?"

The Spurs front man has arguably benefited form his six-week spell on the sidelines though injury, after a hectic schedule last season which saw him play 64 games for both club and country.

And he has returned to action looking fitter and stronger than ever before.

Kane obviously still has a long way to go to be considered as one of the club's all-time best strikers, but if he continues the trajectory of his career progression, the sky is the limit for the 23-year-old.
