Ivory Coast international Franck Kessie is a player in demand, but Manchester United may have an edge despite serious competition from their Premier League rivals.
SkySport Italia reported last week that Tottenham have submitted a £19m offer for the Atalanta midfielder, while The Mirror report via Corriere dello Sport that Liverpool are preparing to bid a similar amount.

It is easy to see why teams are keen on Kessie, who is just 19 and has 10 international caps, and five Serie A goals this season already.
Yet United have an edge, with Kessie previously admitted that a move to Old Trafford would be his dream scenario.
Speaking to GianlucaDiMarzio in September, Kessie said: “Future? I like the league in England, but first I must learn the Italian tactics to one day hopefully land at Manchester United. Who knows if it'll still be Mourinho's team, but I've always been fond of that club.”

Kessie evidently realises that he has a lot of learning to do, but three months ago he would not have foreseen the rapid progress he would make this season.
In 2015/16 he was on loan in Serie B, now he is one of Serie A's most coveted players, and is a regular for his country.
His fast track to success could be followed by an imminent switch to the Premier League, although it remains to be seen if Jose Mourinho and Manchester United will swoop in to make Kessie's dream come true.
