A recent report from the Daily Express suggested that Arsenal were planning to make a £30m bid for Julian Draxler during the January transfer window, and while that has unsurprisingly made them favourites for his signature with BetVictor, the bookmaker has suggested that their Premier League rivals may well be in the running.
BetVictor have listed Liverpool as 4/1 second favourites to sign the 23-year-old before the end of next month.
What should give Reds fans some hope of landing the World Cup winner is the fact that he looks destined to leave his current side Wolfsburg at some stage in the near future.
The Express reported that Draxler has demanded a move and the Bundesliga side have claimed that he has played his last game for the club.
That has seemingly left the door open for another side to swoop in for one of the players who has undoubtedly been seen as one of the continent's brightest prospects in recent years.

And it appears, with BetVictor at least, that a move to England is highly likely with Manchester United and Manchester City being listed as joint-third favourites - along with Bayern Munich - at 8/1.
What may help Jurgen Klopp land the winger, if he is interested in bringing him to Anfield, is the fact that his knowledge of the German league may help him convince Draxler that he knows what it will take to get the very best out of him.
