West Brom fans react to Allan Nyom's performance against Chelsea

Chelsea's David Luiz shakes hands with West Bromwich Albion's Allan Nyom after the game

West Bromwich Albion and Chelsea went head-to-head this weekend.

West Bromwich Albion lost 1-0 to Chelsea in their latest Premier League clash this weekend, but the Baggies can be disappointed not to hold out for at least a point.

The Blues returned to the top of the table with their win. However, a high-flying West Brom side gave as good as they got and were great value for a draw that never came.

A goal from the in-form Diego Costa was enough to give Chelsea all three points, while West Brom are left to rue what might have been.

Their defence held firm for long periods, as West Brom manager Tony Pulis’s game plan looked like being worked to perfection, only for Costa to pop up in the 76th minute and break the visitors’ hearts.

One West Brom player who generated plenty of discussion on social media during the game was full-back Allan Nyom.

The 28-year-old was hailed for his contribution against former club Watford earlier this month, yet this weekend it was his erratic play that got the fans talking.
