Nottingham Forest were brought back down to earth with a demoralising 3-0 defeat at Derby County on Sunday afternoon.
Nicklas Bendtner's own goal on 33 minutes got the rout underway for Nottingham Forest, who brought a three-match winning streak to the iPro Stadium today.
And second-half goals from Tom Ince and Will Hughes completed the scoring on a day which Forest's defence more or less capitulate.
It was a shoddy defensive performance and nobody really stood out from the crowd in a positive sense, but Matt Mills could have been a little better.
The 30-year-old defender was Nottingham Forest's captain on the day, and Reds fans ripped into the former Leicester City man on Twitter afterwards.
Why is Matt mills still trying to cajj it, your 3-0 down you donut— Tom Land (@unclelandy) December 11, 2016
Bent v Bendtner, how the mighty have fallen. As if Matt Mills used to play for Leicester, I'm sure he's blind.— King Claudio (@bringyourvodka) December 11, 2016

Victory would have seen Philippe Montanier's side move four points off the pace in the race for a top-six spot, but they remain seven points back.
Still, there has been plenty of positives in recent weeks and the former Real Sociedad boss will be determined to help get things back on track shortly.
