The Kiwi has been in much improved form this season.
Leeds United striker Chris Wood has been speaking about the positive impact that the new coaching staff have had at Elland Road since their arrival at the club this summer.
Leeds appointed Garry Monk as their new manager in the summer and the former Swansea boss quickly went about appointing some of his old back-room staff – including the likes of Pep Clotet and James Beattie.

Leeds’ results have vastly improved since Monk’s appointment, as have those of Chris Wood. The New Zealand striker has been in great form this term, improving his scoring record from 2015-16.
He told Soccer AM this weekend (10/12/16) that he was happy with the stability that Monk has brought to the club after years of upheaval at Elland Road:
“I think it’s good we have stability back again. After the last three or four seasons, it hasn’t worked like that. We’ve chopped and changed the managers or the players and the club hasn’t been settled.
"The consistency going on now shows our true colours and how we want to play.”

He also spoke about his happiness with Beattie’s role at the club. He praised the impact he was having on the attacking players at Elland Road:
“He’s brilliant, great with the attacking lads. Always talking to me and giving me that insight. It will always enhance your game.”
Leeds have improved massively this season and Wood has certainly benefitted from the new regime.
Leeds fans will hope that they can keep up that form and push for promotion.
