Bamba featured for Cardiff in the Championship match against Ipswich away from home at Portman Road on Saturday afternoon.
The Ivory Coast international defender started the match, but he was sent off with 20 minutes remaining.
The 31-year-old centre-back, who joined Cardiff in October 2016 after leaving Championship rivals Leeds United in September 2016, was dismissed for his angry reaction to a tackle.
Bamba confronted the referee and the fourth official, and was then involved in a confrontation with Cardiff manager Neil Warnock.
The former Hibernian and Leicester City defender had a mixed spell at Leeds. While the former Palermo man played well for the Whites when he initially joined, he gradually lost his place in the starting lineup.
Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Bamba’s extraordinary behaviour during the game between Ipswich and Cardiff.

If there's one thing to take from the Bamba incident it's that whenever he decides to go on a dribble upfield, it rarely ends well.— James (@JamesLUFC) December 10, 2016
