The Swede has been top drawer at Leeds United so far.
The Sweden international has been class since joining Leeds on a season-long loan from Torino this past summer.
The towering centre-back has made 14 Championship appearances for the Whites as Garry Monk's side sit in the top six and looking very strong so far.
Jansson won the fans' affections almost instantly with his no-nonsense style of defending and it is safe to say that the supporters have treated him like one of their own since day one more or less.
He started Friday's 2-0 defeat at Brighton - who moved top of the Championship - but he was powerless to prevent it, with the Seagulls converting a couple of penalties to sink 10-man Leeds for a second defeat in six league outings.
"He's got a discipline to his game and brings composure to the Leeds defence," he told Sky Sports.
"There's a real feel-good factor between himself and the fans - they know he's committed to the cause."
Indeed, Jansson has proven an excellent find and Monk will be determined to keep him at Leeds for the long term. He has the personality and talent to be a huge influence on the team and the sooner a permanent deal can be struck the better.
