Queens Park Rangers appointed Ian Holloway as manger last month.
Speaking to reporters, QPR boss Ian Holloway seemed to hint that he would not have any funds available in January to help improve his squad, as quoted by local newspaper Get West London.
The 53-year-old was handed the reigns at Loftus Road in November, for the second time during his managerial career, and has won one and lost two of his opening three games in charge.

The Hoops currently sit in 17th position in the Championship table, and their fans would have been hoping for investment in the playing squad throughout the January transfer window – something that now looks unlikely, after Holloway told Get West London:
“The hardest thing for a manager when you’ve taken over something that’s changed once, twice, maybe three times and you end up with players unsure whether they’re going to fit in and play. I was fortunate at Blackpool. I knew what Blackpool had and I added the positions. I’ve not been able to do that. I’ve been asked to look at what we’ve got, build their confidence, see where they can play and get them doing that.”

With just three wins from their last 15 outings in all competitions, something has certainly got to change at QPR, and Holloway will have his work cut out, as he looks to improve his side without any January additions.
Next up for Rangers is a trip to rock bottom Rotherham United, and they will be desperate to bring all three points back to London, with tricky games against Aston Villa, Derby County and Brighton & Hove Albion on the horizon.
