Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw with Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s failure to win against Celtic on Tuesday evening.

City played out a 1-1 draw with Celtic at the Etihad Stadium in Champions League Group C.

Patrick Roberts, currently on loan at the Bhoys from the Citizens, put Brendan Rodgers’s side in the lead after just four minutes.

Iheanacho equalised for the home team on eight minutes, as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday evening, hosts City had 57% of the possession, took 10 shots of which two were on target, and earned eight corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Celtic had 43% of the possession, took 16 shots of which six were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.

City have finished second in Group C with nine points from six matches, six points behind group winners Barcelona.
