Championship sides Derby County, Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Norwich and Brentford are all chasing Grimsby Town's prolific striker Omas Bogle, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Bogle is currently the top goalscorer in the county having scored 16 goals so far this season, including seven in his last four games.

The 24-year-old is earning himself a reputation as one of the best talents in the Football League, having come from non-league football.

Bogle has scored 32 goals in 63 games for Grimsby since joining from Solihull Moors last year, helping them win promotion to League Two last season via the play-offs.

The powerful forward has easily adapted to life in League Two and his form has not gone unnoticed by clubs higher up the football pyramid.

The likes of Derby, Forest, Fulham, Norwich and Brentford have all been keeping tabs on Bogle's progress and they are weighing up moves for the player in January as they look to bolster their attacking options.

Grimsby are reluctant to lose Bogle as they battle to try and win promotion to League One, but they are bracing themselves for interest in the former West Brom youngster when the transfer window reopens next month.
