West Ham United travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool this weekend.
Speaking to the club’s official website, former West Ham striker Dean Ashton has insisted this is a good time for the club to face Liverpool.
The Hammers take on Jurgen Klopp’s side this weekend in the midst of a disappointing run of form.
They are without a win in the league since the middle of October and were beaten 5-1 by rivals Arsenal on Saturday.

A trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool is not the most appealing of prospects then, with the Reds currently challenging at the top of the table.
Ashton, however, thinks there is actually no better time for Slaven Bilic’s side to face this weekend’s opponents.
“The team will have good memories of their performance against Liverpool at Anfield last season and they need to take that into the game,” he told the club’s official website.
“I believe this is a good time to play Liverpool following their 4-3 defeat against Bournemouth on Sunday and I see it being a close game.”

Slaven Bilic will certainly be hoping his side can pick up a much-needed win, with a relegation battle on the cards at present.
The Hammers are 17th in the table, just a point outside of the relegation zone and three away from Swansea City in 20th place.
The current squad has come in for stern criticism as a result, with many questioning whether they are good enough.
Ashton, though, has defended them, saying he is confident they can get out of their current predicament.
“When I look at the squad I believe there is enough quality to turn the situation around but we need the strikers to start scoring again,” he added.
“We obviously need players like Andy Carroll to come back and it will make such a difference.”
