Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour praised Tottenham Hotspur youngster Dele Alli on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, December 5, 2016).
Parlour was impressed with the performance of Alli for Tottenham against Swansea City at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.
The England international midfielder started the Premier League game and played for the entire 90 minutes.
“He played well as well. I mean, that was the best I have seen him play for a while because he kept making those runs into the box and he was dangerous.”

Alli did play well for Tottenham against Swansea, but the 20-year-old midfielder was also involved in a controversial incident.
The youngster appeared to dive inside the Swans’ box to earn Spurs a penalty, which was successfully converted by Harry Kane in the 39th minute..
Over the course of the 90 minutes at White Hart Lane on Saturday evening, hosts Tottenham had 60% of the possession, took 28 shots of which 15 were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Swansea had 40% of the possession, took just one shot which was not on target, and failed to earn a single corner, according to BBC Sport.
Spurs are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 27 points from 14 matches, seven points behind leaders Chelsea.
