Southampton booked their place in the last four of the EFL Cup by beating Arsenal at the Emirates.
Virgil van Dijk and Charlie Austin are amongst the host of Southampton players who took to Twitter following their EFL Cup win over Arsenal to celebrate the fact that they are now in the semi-final of the competition.

Claude Puel's men went into the contest as underdogs, but quickly punished the Gunners for any complacency they may have shown as Jordy Clasie put the Saints 1-0 up ahead after just 13 minutes with a thunderous strike.
And they proved that the first was not a fluke as left-back Ryan Bertrand made the score 2-0 seven minutes before the break to leave the home side with a mountain to climb.

But while Arsene Wenger's men had their chances, it is safe to say that the result looked to be in little doubt during the second-half as the south coast club ultimately almost cruised their way into the last four of the competition for the first time since 1987.
Unsurprisingly, several of the Southampton squad took to social media following the win and the subsequent draw - which pitted them against the side that knocked them out of last year's competition in emphatic fashion, Liverpool - to celebrate the side moving to within two games of a potential final.
