The Ibrox side fell to a 2-0 defeat on Wednesday, with both goals scored by the Rangers defender's man.

Rangers fell to a 2-0 at Heart of the Midlothian on Wednesday night, which allowed the Edinburgh side to leapfrog them in the Scottish Premiership standings.

Few Ibrox stars emerge from the game with any credit, as Hearts dominated for long spells in what looks to be Robbie Neilson's final game in charge before moving to MK Dons.

However, with both of the hosts' goals scored by James Tavernier's man, Rangers fans do not appear to be in two minds about who was at fault.

Tavernier was one of the stars of last season as Mark Warburton's side stormed back to the top flight, while it was his superb strike that settled the final of the Petrofac Cup.

The former Newcastle United trainee has found life much tougher this time around, though, leaving some Light Blues fans to question his future at Ibrox, and it perhaps did not help that he was completely outshone by opposite number Callum Paterson in front of the watching Derby County boss Steve McClaren.
