Newcastle United have failed to win either of their last two matches.
Newcastle may be top of the Championship table, but Quinn wants to see more consistency with Benitez’s selections.
The Spanish boss has typically rotated his squad around at St. James’ Park this season, and it has worked well.
However, in the past week, Newcastle’s form has just dipped slightly - with the North East side losing their last two matches.
Newcastle first lost to Blackburn Rovers, with Benitez deciding not to start to top scorer Dwight Gayle, and they were then knocked out of the EFL Cup on penalties by Hull City.
With Newcastle out of the EFL Cup, they can now concentrate on their league campaign, and Quinn wants Benitez to limit the changes he makes to his team.
“It’s hard to knock Rafa, but he made 10 changes. They had three games in six games,” Quinn said. “He brought the big hitters back against Hull, and they played well.
“He should stop chopping and changing the team, as they need to get promoted now.”
Newcastle are currently two points clear at the top of the Championship table, after an excellent start to the season.
Benitez’s side will be looking to return to winning ways tomorrow evening, when they take on Nottingham Forest.
