The 23-year-old has appeared in all but one of City's Championship games so far this season, and has chipped in with three goals and an assist.
Reid is capable of playing in a variety of positions through the middle of the park, and is equally as comfortable playing in a deep-lying role as he is in an attacking one.
Bristol City manager Lee Johnson
And Johnson drew comparisons between Reid and Tottenham's Dele Alli, when speaking to the Bristol Post:
"If you were a Premier League scout and you'd watched Dele Alli the year before last and seen what he'd done since, and then looked at Bobby Reid, you'd think he was not a million miles off. That is how well Bobby has played and the skill levels he has attained."
Reid has been with the west country outfit for the entirety of his career, after joining hem as a teenager in 2011, despite spending five separate loan spells away from Ashton Gate during that period.

Alli, 20, is actually three years younger than the Bristol City man, but experienced similar humble beginnings, with his youth education in the game coming at MK Dons.
He moved to White Hart Lane for what now looks like an absolute bargain £5 million in February 2015, and has gone on to become one of the Premier League's best players.
And after his manager's comments, Reid will be hoping to follow in the Tottenham star's footsteps.
