Harry Redknapp has claimed in the London Evening Standard, that Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are still in with a chance of winning the Premier League title.
Both Arsenal and Spurs have stuttered in recent weeks, with their performances being slightly below par.
As a result, Chelsea’s match against Manchester City has been billed by some as a potentially crucial match in the title race.
However, Redknapp insists that Chelsea and City are not the only two sides that can win the Premier League this season, as he is not ruling out the North London duo returning to form soon.
“The title race isn’t a two-horse race,” he said. “Liverpool have injuries to contend with now but you can’t rule them out while Arsenal and Tottenham have to be bang there.”
Tottenham have won just once in their last 10 matches across all competitions, and they are already playing catch up in the title race.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side lost to Chelsea in their last outing, meaning they are now six points away from the league leaders.
Arsenal, meanwhile, have kept picking up points - but their displays towards the back end of November were concerning.
As things stand, the Gunners sit in fourth place in the Premier League table, with their next match coming against West Ham United at the weekend.
