Cardiff City lost 3-1 to Aston Villa last weekend.
Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has criticised Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish for attempting to get players booked ‘all the time’ on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show, which was broadcast on 1st December on TalkSPORT.
Warnock was frustrated with Grealish’s conduct during Cardiff’s recent match against Villa, which Steve Bruce’s side won 3-1.
Cardiff defender Lee Peltier was sent off towards the end of the match, and Warnock felt that Grealish did little to help his player’s cause to stay on the pitch.
“He’s a good player, but he’s all the time trying to get players booked and going to the referee,” Warnock said. “He didn’t need to do it, but he gets away with it at home.”
Villa’s match with Cardiff was a very close one, but Bruce’s side just about did enough to claim the three points.
The claret and blues took the lead when Albert Adomah fired home from close range, but they were pegged back by Rickie Lambert.
At that stage the match could have gone either way, but Villa scored twice in the second half to secure the victory.
Villa remain unbeaten since Bruce took charge, and they have climbed up to 11th place in the Championship table.
Cardiff, meanwhile, are stuck in the relegation zone - with their next fixture coming against Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.
