West Ham United were soundly beaten, but one player had something to celebrate.
While Wednesday's defeat to Manchester United in the EFL Cup is not a game that most West Ham United fans will want to remember, one Hammers star is undoubtedly unlikely to forget the game in a hurry.
It appeared that Slaven Bilic's men were going to be in for a long night when Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened the scoring after just two minutes at Old Trafford.

And while that ultimately proved to be the case, the Irons did get themselves back into the game as Ashley Fletcher equalised for the away side 10 minutes before half-time.
Two goals from Anthony Martial shortly after the break and another from Ibrahimovic ensured that Jose Mourinho's men were the ones to book their place in the last four.

Nevertheless, Fletcher took to Twitter following the game to commemorate his first goal for West Ham since his summer move.
Although the result was less than ideal, the 21-year-old would have also relished the moment as it came against the club that let him go. He failed to make a single appearance for the Red Devils, so he would have surely loved the opportunity to prove himself to them.
