The Celtic hitman has netted 17 times in all competitions this season.
The 20-year-old striker has netted 17 times in all competitions following a £500k switch from Fulham this past summer.
Three of those 17 came in the Champions League - including a double at home to Manchester City - in a fact which suggests that the Frenchman is a fine goalscorer in general, rather than assume his goal return is reflective of Scottish football.
Such is his form that Dembele has reportedly courted interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United (The Mirror), and the Celtic skipper is delighted with how the young man has adapted to life in Glasgow.
“Moussa has been fantastic for us all season,” Brown told Celtic View, the club's official magazine.
“What a signing he has been for what, £500k? The club really done some business in getting him into the club and he has been excellent since he got off the mark here.
“He is a quiet lad but there is a confidence about him as well as a real work-rate. He is hungry and he wants to get better."
Celtic fans will be dreaming of Dembele becoming as influential for the Bhoys as Henrik Larsson did earlier this century.
But the reality is that modern-day football does not allow for those talismanic figures at clubs like Celtic any longer. Inevitably, bigger teams will come knocking and they invariably get their man.
As a result, supporters will find it hard to attach themselves to Dembele in the knowledge that he might not be at Parkhead next season, but for the moment, he is spearheading the Bhoys' treble bid.
