Benitez makes eight changes? Predicted Newcastle side to play Nottingham Forest

Here is how we predict Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United will line up this week:

To be played on Friday 2nd December 2016 at 19:45. Venue: City Ground, Nottingham

Odds: Forest 4/1, Draw 23/10, Newcastle 8/11

Newcastle United travel to the City Ground on Friday evening to take on Nottingham Forest in their latest Championship clash.

The Magpies will be smarting from their penalty shootout defeat to Hull City in the quarter-final of the EFL Cup earlier this week, but they will have to quickly turn their attention to the league as they bid to get back on track.

Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez

Newcastle have lost their last two match, including at home to Blackburn Rovers last weekend, and they cannot afford to make it three losses in succession.

Rafa Benitez’s side remain two points clear at the top of the table. However Brighton & Hove Albion are hot on their heels and the play-off contenders directly below them will know a strong festive period could quickly change things.

Nottingham Forest manager Philippe Montanier

In contrast Forest are 17th in the table with 22 points to date, just four clear of the relegation zone, so they will be desperate for a victory of their own.
