A select round-up of the latest transfer news relating to Liverpool...
Liverpool are into the semi-finals of the EFL Cup after a 2-0 home win over Leeds United on Tuesday evening, and Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to reach the final of the competition for the second season in a row.
Away from that game, speculation is already surrounding Liverpool and who they could be signing in January, with manager Klopp no doubt keen to add to his squad to aid his push for the Premier League title.
A general view of Anfield
Today's biggest rumour has seen Celtic striker Moussa Dembele being linked with the club, after a remarkable start to his career with the Bhoys.
The 20-year-old attacker only joined Celtic from Fulham over the summer, but has hit 17 goals in 27 games to trigger major interest in his signature, with Liverpool believed to be keen.
Celtic's Moussa Dembele
Glasgow Live report that Klopp has had French attacker Dembele scouted five times this season, and is now ready to offer Celtic a deal worth £10m up front and £10m in add-ons, as well as a £60,000-a-week contract for Dembele – a contract which would quadruple his wages.
Elsewhere, Le10 Sport report that West Ham United have made an approach to Liverpool centre back Mamadou Sakho over a possible move to the London Stadium.
Liverpool's Mamadou Sakho
The French defender has been frozen out of the side this season having seemingly fallen out with manager Klopp over the summer, and is well down the pecking order at Anfield.
West Ham need defensive reinforcements given that only three Premier League teams have conceded more goals than they have this term, and Sakho could be seen as an option for the Hammers given how he's out of the picture at Liverpool.
