And when speaking on Sky Sports Now, Francis was asked whether there is an expected return date for the England under-21 international:

"I don't think so. I haven't seen much of Saido to be perfectly honest because he's been away having some special fitness and dietary situations done to him. We just want to get him back, because he's a talented boy, he's a nice lad, we want to get him back fit and playing again, that's the most important thing. We will certainly be pleased when he is available and back in the squad."

Tony Pulis' men have actually performed admirably this season, after having to endure heavy criticism for what their fans believed was a failed summer transfer window, and they currently sit in ninth position in the Premier League table.

If Berahino can return to the club in great shape, both physically and mentally, then who is to say that he won't be a major asset for West Brom, and help them maintain their position in the top half of the table.

He certainly has the talent, but it will be how he chooses to apply himself that determines the impact he is capable of having on his side's campaign.
