The West Ham United striker has been linked with a move to the La Liga side in the winter.

Valencia head coach Cesare Prandelli has responded to questions regarding the potential signature of West Ham United loanee Simone Zaza this winter.

The La Liga side have been linked with the player recently, with the Italian links between the pair likely to be a major reason behind the connection.

But Prandelli was not set to speculate on any potential move for the West Ham star when asked by the media this week. According to Sport You this was his response when asked about potentially making a move for the West Ham striker:

"Out of respect for the current squad, I will not be speaking about the transfer market.”

Of course Hammers fans would not be too disappointed if the club did find a taker for Zaza.

He is currently on loan at the club from Juventus but has struggled to have any real impact at the club since making his move and is still waiting for his first goal for West Ham.

The club are believed to be reluctant on a permanent deal, which would become obligatory after the Italian international played a certain amount of games for the club.

If Valencia do decide they want him in January, there is little doubt that West Ham will happily accommodate such an exit.
