West Ham United are set to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford in the EFL Cup tomorrow evening.

Slaven Bilic has hinted to West Ham United’s official website that he intends to make changes to his side which faces Manchester Untied in the EFL Cup quarter-final tomorrow.

West Ham are set to take on the Red Devils, with a place in the semi-finals of the cup competition on offer.

However, with the Hammers in danger of being dragged into a relegation battle, Bilic is keen not to task any risks in the tie.

The Croatian boss insists that he is desperate for West Ham to make it into the next round, but he has also suggested that some players may be rested for the clash at Old Trafford.

“It would give us a lot of confidence if we could win the game and we will be doing everything to do that,” Bilic said.

“If we change a few players like United will, it doesn't mean we are going there just to play a game.

“It is a quarter-final and to reach the semis is a big thing and we are just a couple of games from the final.”

West Ham have rotated their team so far in the EFL Cup, with some of their fringe players being handed opportunities.

The Hammers have got past Accrington Stanley and Chelsea to reach this stage of the competition.

When West Ham and Manchester United met in Premier League action last Sunday, the match finished as a 1-1 draw with Diafra Sakho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic scoring the goals for their respective sides.
