Newcastle United have made a mid-season signing already according to reports in Spain, snapping up young talent 'Juanito'.
Spanish newspaper Sport report Newcastle have signed the 17-year-old, after reaching an agreement with his club Recreativo de Huelva.

The report mentions Huelva being in dire financial circumstances, leading to their decision to cash in on the young prospect. The team currently play in Spain's third tier.
The youngster's full name is Juan Jesus Nunez Cumbrera, and Huelva24 report Juanito will soon begin training with Newcastle's under-23 team.
Juanito is an attacking player and follows former teammate David Alfonso out of the club, who signed recently with Barcelona.

Newcastle's Spanish manager Rafa Benitez has an extensive knowledge of football in his homeland from spells with Valencia and Real Madrid, but even before his time at the club they have raided Spain successfully, signing Ayoze Perez in 2014.
The team are currently top of the Championship and into the quarter-final of the EFL Cup this evening.
